# Redstone Switches Any controller is a redstone switch board. Adopt a fresh node as role "switch" (NODES app, Enter -> ADOPT -> switch) and it comes up exposing: - Its six faces as outputs named top, bottom, left, right, front, back. - Any named outputs you add via CONFIGURE -> OUTPUTS. Output syntax in the config editor: name=side plain computer face name=peripheralName:side Advanced Peripherals redstoneIntegrator Example: factory_lights=left; bay2=redstoneIntegrator_0:north The SWITCHES app lists every named circuit in the system with live state. ENTER toggles. State changes are real redstone.setOutput calls (or integrator setOutput) on the target node, and each state is pushed as switch.out. telemetry. Safety: switch nodes hold their last state if the backbone drops. Set linkLost="off" in the module config to force all outputs off instead. Authority: set/toggle/pulse are 'operate' level — they need the node's shared token. Read-only listing is open to any node.
